There has been an independent Awards Show (for the past sixteen years) that has been very successful and it has shown there is great interest in the independent labels and artists to join forces to becoming a profitable entity as it was in the 50's and 60's.

Most all of the old time hits you hear on radio today were released on independent labels and became million dollar sellers being distributed and paid for by the independent distributors. This must and can happen again!

This current effort is to pull the Independent Music Industry into a united effort though The Entertainer Indi-Association and Indi-awards Show.

The Entertainer Indi-Association and Indi-Awards Show has been formed by the Music City Entertainer News which is celebrating it's 34th anniversary now. Cliff Ayers Ostermeyer, head of The Entertainer Indi-Association and Indi-Awards also owns Emerald Records which he started 54 years ago in New York City. Mr. Ostermeyer also owns Music Town Distributors and Promotion Company which is an independent record distribution company started 46 years ago (in 1960) promoting such independent labels as Motown, Roulette, Class, Diamond, and many other independent labels.

We have access to the stations, the distributors, and the one-stop plus entertainment publications in which to write and publicize your videos, recordings, and artists' releases.

We require only $100.00 fee for a charter membership to belong to
