| There is no fee to publish your song. This is one part of the music industry that does not have a fee to be of service to the client. Tessalou is affiliated with ASCAP (American Society Of Composers And Publishers). The purpose of belonging to ASCAP, BMI, or S.O.S. is for them to collect monies for your song from airplay, record sales, and performances. |
| Tessalou Music will send ASCAP applications to songwriters and artist that are signed up to out publishing company. This is to verify that you are a member of ASCAP so they can send your checks directly to you if there is any airplay or performances that are documented. ASCAP only checks 10% of radio stations for airplay and if you have a play on 1 of these station they multiply it 10 times to make up for the stations that they don't check. |
