Mary
Jean
Mary Jean is from Clay, Alabama, a small town nestled in the foothills
of the Appalachian Mountains near the heart of the Cahaba River.
Mary performed as a member of the local High School and Church Choirs.
After her graduation in 1981, Mary joined The U.S.
Army where she met her husband of 25 years, with whom she has a daughter.
Mary is also a former Gold & Silver Medallist
Member of Sweet Adeline’s International. In 1997, Mary Jean
was diagnosed with a Chronic Pain Disorder known as Fibromyalgia.
Ironically, Mary’s love of music was suggested as one of the
forms of therapy for her condition, which led her to recapture the
dream of becoming a Country Music Artist/Writer & Gospel Country
Music Artist, which has also opened a divine door filled with small
opportunities towards her dream. Mary Jean is a winner of several
EIA awards. The Entertainer Indi-Assoication 2006 Female Artist Horizon
Award,
