American Sound Records
American Sound Records was started in 1970, twenty years after Emerald Records. American Sound Records was created for the purpose of providing Country Music and Bluegrass artists a label dedicated solely to their style of music. If you are a Country Music or Bluegrass artist you would be released on this label. One of our very first artists to record on American Sound Records is the legendary Grand Ole Opry artist Earnie Ashworth. As a matter of fact, any artist whom would be welcomed on the Grand Ole Opry would be welcomed on this label. Many of your major recording artists of today recorded demos with American Sound while aspiring to be "Stars of Tomorrow".
Throughout Emerald Record's wonderful history, it has always been known as a label whom releases more Contemporary artists. New York, L.A., and Nashville all know Emerald Records for recording more "up beat" ranges of music. The Entertainer Network needed to provide a venue customized to the needs of Country Music and Bluegrass artists. It's been over 30 years since the creation of American Sound and it has made quite a name for itself with the "big wigs" in the music business.
If you are an artist who performs Country music or Bluegrass music American Sound is the label that will best suit your needs. This label will cost you a little less to record with than Emerald Records. You can use our current library of soundtracks to record with or you can record with a live session. It is noted that it will be more economical to use our current library of music than to record a live session. Since American Sound Records has recorded over 400 artist we have almost all the standards available at your leisure any many more. Some of our familiar "Standards" are "Talk Back Trembling Lips", "Your Cheating Heart", "Apartment #9", "Silver Threads and Golden Needs", and "Stand By Your Man".
